Foxhole is seeking a qualified Sr. Web Developer.  This position focuses on using relevant experience, strong problem solving, and customer service skills to assist with architecting, testing, deploying, enhancing, and sustaining development and operational activities in close coordination with the Government.

Job Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale web applications using modern application frameworks and secure coding practices.
  • Develop full-stack features including front-end interfaces, application logic, and backend services, APIs, and microservices.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and service integrations supporting mission-critical applications.
  • Understand application architectures that integrate with enterprise databases, APIs, identity systems, and cloud platforms.
  • Work with architects to implement scalable application architectures supporting high availability and performance.
  • Write modular, maintainable, and testable code following enterprise engineering standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, architecture reviews, and secure coding validation.
  • Ensure applications comply with Section 508 accessibility requirements and federal security frameworks.
  • Work closely with government stakeholders, UX designers, product owners, and system engineers to deliver mission capabilities.
  • Participate in Agile software development cycles including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and demonstrations.

Minimum Requirements

  • 8+ years of enterprise web application development experience, with at least 2-3 years specifically in a senior or lead level role
  • Experience building full-stack applications using modern frameworks
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)
  • Experience developing backend services using Java, .NET, Node.js, or Python
  • Experience developing applications using Oracle APEX or enterprise low-code platforms, like Salesforce, Microsoft Power Apps, Appian
  • Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and service integrations
  • Experience working with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) or similar enterprise data platforms
  • Experience working within Agile / DevSecOps development environments
  • Understanding of secure software development and government security requirements
  • Strong troubleshooting and software engineering problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with deploying applications in AWS, Azure, or government cloud environments

Desired Experience/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s (BS) and/or Master (MS) degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent experience (8+ years) – strongly preferred but not required
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/OCI) is a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in front-end technologies, i.e., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or associated language knowledge
  • Expertise in responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance optimization
